On November 5th, I had one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I got to spend enrichment time with an octopus! She was simply incredible. Among many other things, she absolutely loved being watered. Best birthday gift EVER!
Just a quick post to let everyone know that I had a new story published earlier this month in Nature. It is available online for free, and you can find the link in the bibliography section of this site. I also wrote a bit about the inspiration behind this story, and you can find that at the end of the story itself. As always, thanks for reading.
Sold my short story “Some Dogs Kick When They Dream” to Nature’s Futures series!
This is my fifth sale to Nature, and it is my 28th overall. This one is mostly about grief and religion. Those two have so often been linked in my life, but I’ve rarely been able to handle writing about both at the same time. This story is a short one, though, so I managed to pull it off.
As always, thanks for reading. I can’t wait to share this story with the rest of you.
